Sitting down hard on my sofa that evening, a glass of red wine in my hand, I sigh with relief. Today was exhausting. Not only did I have to mediate between Crew and Nathan, the Racketeers defenseman sustained a hip flexor strain in practice. Alexei is known for his aggressive skating style and he beats the hell out of his hip joints and groin muscles. He’s rotating joint and soft tissues injuries every other season.

As team physician, I always feel responsible when these guys injure themselves doing something I’ve warned them not to do. But they’re athletes and they want to win, despite that we’ve talked endlessly about stretching and not overextending in practice.

Stretching.

The word has an immediate visual popping into my head of Dani taking two dicks at once like Paris, the heroine in her favorite book.

Damn.

Now that’s something I can’t wait to try. Or watch.

Adjusting myself in my joggers, I take another sip of wine and debate if I should listen to a podcast or reread key parts of One Night In Paris.

But then a notification dings that a doc from Dani has been shared with me.

Hell, yeah. I can’t wait to see what my little spicy smut writer has cooked up today after her night with Nathan. And morning with Crew. She must be feeling inspired.
